Seminar Schedule & Information

welcome lead nj sign

Participating in a Lead New Jersey class requires a shared commitment of time, attention, and finances from both the Fellow and his or her employer. However, the benefits reaped by the individual and their company/organization are priceless.

Schedule & Time Commitment:

2025 Draft Schedule as of July 1, 2024

The LNJ program runs for the calendar year with 10 seminars from January through June and August through November, concluding with graduation and the annual Celebration of Leaders in December. Please see the LNJ Experience for details about the policy issues and leadership modules covered in a typical program year.

The majority of seminar days are held in person with select days held via Zoom. Attendance at no less than 85% of seminar days is required. Hotel stays throughout the program year are optional EXCEPT for the Leadership Retreat in March, which is required.  The more engaged you are during seminars and with your class, the richer your LNJ experience will be, so participation in as much as possible is highly encouraged!

Tuition & Fees

Lead New Jersey is a competitive, tuition-based program for the seminar year, which includes all seminar day expenses except overnight hotel accommodations. Room blocks at discounted rates are secured for overnight stays; overnight stays are optional except for the Leadership Retreat in March.

    • Tuition assistance awarded in 2025 does not automatically carry forward to a future program year if the applicant defers participation.
